Harry Reid shredded for NASCAR sponsors comment: Where’s his Soros jacket?

Harry Reid and his Koch habit are kicking into high-gear hypocrisy — and the Twitter world is nailing him for it.

On the Senate floor on Monday, the majority leader decried his GOP colleagues for accepting so much money from lobbyists for Charles and David Koch they should wear commercial logos the way NASCAR drivers sport STP decals.

“NASCAR fans can easily find their favorite drivers by simply looking at the cars as they fly by, because there are corporate emblems on the hood of the car … for our clothing here in the Senate, we don’t bear commercials logos,” Reid said. “Many Republicans might as well wear Koch insignias.”

Reid, being shameless, was proud enough of his own duplicity that he put out a tweet with the statement.

As the Twitter reactions make clear, the former boxer from Searchlight, Nev., ought to be more careful about the fights he picks.

It wasn’t all billionaire Dem bankroll financier George Soros or the goons at the Service Employees International Union getting called out. Lib billionaire Tom Steyer, the man’s whose money allows his personal environmental green fetishes to hold up vital projects vital to the economy, like the Keystone XL pipeline, drew attention too.

(If you know what a tramp stamp is, you’ll be more repelled than amused by the mental image. If you don’t, ask a teenager — THEN be repelled.)

And then there’s the world of high finance — the “fat cats” Dems hate except when it’s time to hit the perpetual ATM of Wall Street.

Now for some ugly historical analogies. The heart of a fascist never beats far below the liberal surface, though it seems to be more evident when they’re calling themselves “progressive” for some reason.

Turnabout is fair play in politics. So here’s a closing tweet of what a Democrat decal outfit could look like.
