Just because multi-award winning journalist Sharyl Attkisson is no longer with CBS News doesn’t mean she discarded her investigative reporter’s hat. She’s just using a format that gives her total control — the Internet.

In addition to completing a book detailing her frustrations dealing with the Obama administration, she set up, where she is “Resisting undue corporate, political and other special interests,” to give the public the truth on the issues that need to be disclosed, according to her website.

From her home page, you’re invited to explore the failed gun-running scheme, “Operation Fast and Furious,” as well as Obamacare’s barely-functioning and the shameful attack on the American foreign mission in Benghazi, Libya. Other less-publicized, but important issues include Medical & Vaccines and Green Energy Going Red.

She includes a huge repository of her past reports on the day’s major issues — those plaguing the White House but that President Obama brushes off as “phony scandals.”

Attkisson is no stranger to using alternative media to get her point across. A year ago from January she took to Twitter to tell her story in an almost non-stop marathon session of tweets that lasted for over two hours.

On March 10, she tweeted the close of her 20-year odyssey with CBS News, simply saying, “I have resigned from CBS.” However, citing a source close to the journalist, Politico reported she left due to “the network’s liberal bias, an outsize influence by the network’s corporate partners and a lack of dedication to investigative reporting.”

Her fans, anxious to hear what she has to say, welcomed the new site on Twitter:

But there was also one ominous note:

If for no other reason, go to her site to pre-order a copy of her book, “Stonewalled: One Reporter’s Fight for Truth in Obama’s Washington.”
