Twitter roasts Senate Dems’ progressive pajama party to whine about the weather

Senate Dems like to pretend they stay awake at night worrying about climate change.

On Monday going into Tuesday, they actually did.

In a combination publicity stunt-progressive pajama party, Senate Democrats had a sleepover to make speeches about global warming, even though trying to actually pass any kind of actual legislation is off the table because the American people aren’t nearly the fools libs take them for.

As Fox News reports,

Democratic leaders made it clear they have no plans to bring a climate bill to the Senate floor this year. Indeed, the issue is so politically charged that a host of Democrats who face tough re-election fights in the fall opted to skip the session.

In other words, they wanted to talk about the weather, but do nothing about it.

“They’ll have an audience of themselves, so I hope they enjoy it,” said Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla.

They probably didn’t enjoy it – who would? – but Twitter users certainly enjoyed sending up the event for absurdity it was.

Here, thanks to Twitchy, is a sampling.

But that’s just conservative logic.

Here’s the champion — putting liberal logic to work making fun of liberal logic.
