In the months leading up to Obamacare’s Oct. 1 rollout, the president and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius met 18 times, according to documents obtained this week by Congress. Yet Obama claimed he was unaware of the problems plaguing HealthCare.gov’s website until after the rollout.
All of which begs the question — why was the president so clueless? What did they talk about? Golf? The weather? The next Easter egg roll?
The Weekly Standard’s Michael Warren told Fox News co-anchor Bill Hemmer Friday that this new information raises more questions than it answers — many centering on the president’s own leadership skills.
Hemmer closed by noting that 64 percent of respondents to a recent poll indicated that if Congress knew in 2009 what we know today, Obamacare would never have passed.
