Iran TV mocks Obama’s bricks comment: ‘Take just one brick and knock it against your head’

An Iranian TV host mocked President Obama’s promise to punish those not honoring sanctions against Iran, saying the president should bang his own head with a brick.

“We will come down on them like a ton of bricks,” Obama said of companies that violated sanctions by doing business with Iran, according to The Times of Israel.

The host ranted during Tehran TV’s Channel 5 morning show Thursday.

“Is America like a bogeyman?” he asked. “We don’t want to portray it like that, but Mr. Obama, himself, is insisting on imposing such an image. We keep saying that we are OK with America and its people, and so on. We keep trying to mend the relations, and then along comes Obama and says something that ruins it all.”

The host offered Obama a little “foreign policy advice.”

“First of all, Mr. Obama, don’t waste a ton of bricks,” he said. “Take just one brick, and knock it against your head. Perhaps parts of his brain will swap places, and his perspective will change.”
