Jon Stewart laughs at Nancy Pelosi’s gall: Obamacare website ‘not my responsibility’

“The Daily Show’s” Jon Stewart got a big laugh when Thursday’s guest, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., told him the Obamacare website’s failures were not her responsibility.

The interview began with a discussion on why Washington is so dysfunctional.

“Right now, we have a school of thought in the House Republican caucus that is anti-government, anti-science, anti-Obama,” Pelosi said. “They have a trifecta that just enables them to vote against everything.”

Stewart said the Democrats appear chaotic, and can’t seem to get anything.

“OK, we are going to set up a health care website that is an exchange,” Stewart said. “People are going to come to it. Why is it so hard to get a company to execute that competently?”

Pelosi responded, “I don’t know.”

Stewart burst into laughter.

“What do you mean you don’t know?” Stewart asked. “How do you not know?”

“Well, it’s not my responsibility,” she said.
