Nancy Pelosi: ‘We did not treat President Bush this way’

Winston Churchill once said, “History will be kind to me for I intend to write it.”

A concept that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and the progressive left clearly buy into, to the letter.

In a pre-speech analysis of Tuesday night’s State of the Union address, Pelosi told NBC host Chuck Todd that “a large segment” of the GOP is “anti-government, anti-science, and anti-Obama.”

Yes, she did: Michelle Obama asks for $10 donations to ‘protect Obamacare’

Pelosi actually claimed she did not “want any more government than we need,” but really pushed her delusional view of history to an unprecedented level while complaining about Republicans obstructing Obama’s economic agenda.

“We did not treat President Bush this way,” she said. “We thought we had a responsibility to work with the president to get a job done for the American people and we did.”

Seriously, she said this.

“This obstruction to President Obama is something quite stunning,” Pelosi told a compliant Todd, who raised nary an objection. “It’s something quite different.”
