Al Sharpton mocks conservative concerns over targeting as ‘paranoia activity’

The Rev. Al Sharpton may have referred to the numerous scandals plaguing the Obama administration as phony – including Benghazi, the IRS targeting and “Fast and Furious” – but he says the latest investigations into conservatives are real.

“Look out, there’s a brand new right-wing conspiracy theory in town,” Sharpton said Friday on MSNBC’s “PoliticsNation.” “Apparently any Republican who might face legal trouble is a target of the Obama administration.”

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell and documentary producer Dinesh D’Souza are all “facing serious legal questions,” Sharpton said.

Mocking conservatives’ concern as “paranoia activity,” video clips of talk show hosts Rush Limbaugh and Laura Ingraham were shown.
