Karma: Sarah Palin smiles, ‘what goes around comes around’ on Katie Couric

Conservative darling Sarah Palin was too classy to gloat over the news that Katie Couric recently had her ABC talk show cancelled, but she did dazzle with her big smile when she said, “I certainly believe that what goes around comes around.”

But during a recent interview on “Extra,” Palin told Mario Lopez she received some texts from friends who didn’t mind gloating and said things like, “Oh, sorry that it didn’t work out there at CBS or ABC,” when the announcement was made in December that Couric’s show would not be renewed.

Palin jabbed Couric over her deplorable ratings, though she said she wasn’t as surprised when Couric stepped down from CBS News – where Couric was the evening news anchor when Palin sat with her for what has been called her worst interviews ever during the 2008 presidential campaign.

“The ratings were going in the tank with her as one of the head honchos there in the newsroom at CBS,” she said. And then it didn’t surprise me, her other move because things weren’t going real well there, either.”

Because, karma.
