A young punk who expected some easy cash when he attempted to rob a 90-year-old business owner Monday got a surprise instead — the business-end of a handgun.
The would-be robber entered the R&J Laundromat in Dayton, Ohio, asking for change. Before the owner, George Hicks, could comply, the thug changed his tune and demanded all of Hicks’ cash, according to WRGT local Fox-45.
Hicks drew his gun and chased the hoodie-wearing kid out the door, then called 911. The conversation went:
911 Dispatcher: “Did he take any money?”
Victim: “No. No. When he shoved me, I jumped up and went for my gun and when I went for my gun I said I’ll blow your (blanking) brains out and he was gone.”
