A Democrat looking for a positive message to start 2014 might want to skip the Democratic National Committee website.

Much of the Democrats.org homepage discusses Republicans’ push to impeach President Obama.

“What do these people all have in common?” the site asks, then lists these quotes from notable Republicans:

“People may start to use the I-word before too long.” – Sen. James Inhofe, Okla.

“We can have an impeachment hearing in the House and in my mind the president has committed impeachable offenses.” – Rep. Michele Bachmann, Minn.

“If I could write that bill and submit it, it would be a dream come true.” – Rep. Kerry Bentivolio, Mich.

“If we were to impeach the president tomorrow, you could probably get the House of Representatives to do it.” – Rep. Blake Farenthold, Texas

“Show these Republicans that they are way, way off-base, and give President Obama a Congress that has his back,” the site says, adding that only 17 seats are needed to “take back the House.”

The organization continued the theme in an email to supporters, according to The Daily Caller.

As if that weren’t enough, a contribution page on the site has this note of encouragement:

Republicans are backed by special interests and Wall Street. But we proved last year that through grassroots advocacy, we can still win. We’re in debt right now — but with your help, Democrats will continue to win in 2013, 2014 and beyond.

And don’t forget to “chip in” before midnight Tuesday.
