The Christmas version of ‘Hallelujah’ that you’ve probably never heard

The popular song “Hallelujah” has been sung by numerous musicians, but one Christian music group has rewritten the lyrics of Leonard Cohen’s original to make it a Christmas tune.

The Manhattan based band, Cloverton, presents a stirring rendition of the song that could make it a Christmas classic for years to come. Lance Stafford (piano/vocals), his twin brother, Layne Stafford (bass), Kirby LeMoine (drums) and Josh Svorinic (guitars), have taken the Christian music scene by storm since 2011, according to their website.

“You can literally feel Christmas during this moving performance,” the website Liftbump says.
