In an effort to “lighten” things up a bit before the Christmas holiday, U.S. Sen. Rand Paul banged out a litany of tweets Monday in a Festivus-esque airing of grievances, big – Washington, D.C. and small – with people who don’t think his hair is real.
For the uninitiated, Festivus “a well-celebrated parody,” was made famous by a 1997 episode of “Seinfeld,” and “has become a secular holiday celebrated on December 23 which serves as an alternative to participating in the pressures and commercialism of the Christmas holiday season,” according to Wikipedia.
“I’ve got a lot of problems with you people, and now you’re going to hear about it!” (Frank Costanza, 1997).
