The comments about homosexuality made by “Duck Dynasty” patriarch Phil Robertson has made “The Tonight Show” monologue, meaning the incident is now an official national controversy.
NBC late night host Jay Leno weighed in on the Duck Dynasty drama during his monologue Thursday evening, suggesting A&E has a new slogan and that there’s a whole other class of people upset with Robertson.
Leno joked, in part:
“It seems Phil Robertson, one of the stars of Duck Dynasty has been suspended from the show after he criticized gays, so gay people are upset with him. Then he went on to criticize adulterers, drunks and swindlers and now Congress is mad at him!”
