‘Price Is Right’ host Bob Barker, 90, endorses Republican for Congress in ad

Bob Barker, host of “The Price Is Right” for 35 years, has cut an ad in favor of a Republican candidate for Congress running in a special election in Florida to replace Rep. C.W. “Bill” Young, who recently died in office.

“Folks, when you get to be as young as I am, you call it like you see it. That’s why I’m supporting David Jolly for Congress,” Barker, 90, says in the ad.

Jolly is a former senior adviser and general counsel to Young and is running against Florida state Rep. Kathleen Peters in the January 14 GOP primary — the general election is in March.

“I admired David as he worked alongside my good friend Bill Young, helping wounded veterans, protecting our seniors and children and standing up for Pinellas with character and honor,” Barker continued.

“With Jolly, the choice is right,” Barker said to close out the ad.
