The Obama administration has figured out how to stop enforcing immigration laws and achieve backdoor amnesty: Hire a slew of new personnel who are openly hostile toward immigration enforcement.
The Department of Homeland Security recently hired “dozens” of immigration enforcement attorneys, all who have “activist pro-amnesty and pro-asylum” backgrounds, according to an explosive new report from whistleblower and former Justice Department attorney J. Christian Adams.
Adams spoke to Fox News’ Megyn Kelly Friday and said DHS hired the new attorneys from “radical open borders organizations” – all with demonstrated “hostility” toward immigration law – “to oversee and manage immigration litigation.”
“Sources within the Department of Homeland Security report that the process for hiring these new career civil service lawyers was unconventional and was conducted by an Obama political appointee within DHS…chief counsel for Citizen and Immigration Services Stephen Legomsky… [whose] scholarship is most notable for its hostility toward barriers to entry for foreigners coming to the United States,” Adams wrote in an article for PJ Media.
“This unit will have the power to effectively suspend immigration laws,” Adams warned Kelly.
“They’re burrowing in. This administration knows that personnel is policy, and they’re changing the personnel to change the policy.”
