It’s going to be a very awkward Thanksgiving for the Cheney family after a Facebook family feud erupted between the sisters over gay marriage Sunday.

The former vice president’s daughter Liz Cheney, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Wyoming, appeared on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace and discussed her opposition to same-sex marriage, including her disagreement over the issue with her lesbian sister Mary who said Liz is “dead wrong.”

“I love Mary very much, I love our family very much,” Liz Cheney told Wallace. “This is just an issue on which we disagree.”

Sister Mary Cheney and her wife Heather Poe watched the segment and neither were happy with Liz’s comments.

Both women took to Facebook to blast Liz over her comments:
