On the eve of President Obama’s fundraising trip to Miami Friday, Gov. Rick Scott took to Twitter to slam the president over his failed policies in the Sunshine State.
Scott hit the president over the lack of financial help for Lake Okeechobee thanks to budget cuts, and then moved on to the “300,000 Floridians” who lost their health insurance thanks to Obamacare.
On President Obama’s Thursday night non-apology apology that millions are losing their health coverage thanks to his broken promises that “if you like your plan, you can keep your plan, period,” Scott tweeted, thanks, but…
.@BarackObama I’m disappointed you are coming to Florida for politics, and not to help Lake O. – cut by your budget.

Despite the fed govt’s shortcomings, we’ve dedicated close to $420 million in critical water quality projects to help families.

Hopefully you will also take this opportunity to explain how 300,000 Floridians have lost their health insurance under your new law.

.@BarackObama, while we appreciate tonight’s national apology, it still won’t give 300,000 Floridians their insurance back.
