Country Music Awards scores big laughs mocking Obamacare mess

The botched Obamacare website rollout took center stage at Wednesday night’s Country Music Association awards when hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood sang a little duet, “Obamacare by Morning.” Opening a notebook computer on her lap to sign up for the Obamacare insurance exchange, Underwood said, “It can’t be too hard, can it?” “Why’s it spinning?” Paisley asked, eyes on the computer. “Oh, it does that,” Underwood answered. “Why’s it smoking?” Paisley wondered. “Umm, I don’t know,” Underwood said. “Maybe we should restart it.” Then they launched into their song, “Obamacare by morning.” After going through the trials of signing up, they conclude with, “Over six people served!” The folks on Twitter loved it, and showed their appreciation. Book author and Townhall columnist Katie Pavlich tweeted: CMA1 Blogger, activist and former healthcare lobbyist Bruce Carroll loved the song’s closing line: CMA2 Here are a few other tweets posted after the segment.
