Rush indicts Obama: ‘Nixon resigned over a lie nowhere near this big’

On Friday’s show, talk radio titan Rush Limbaugh said that “Americans are losing [health care] coverage by political design” through President Obama‘s signature healthcare law, adding that “the White House knew out there that 93 million Americans were gonna lose their policy.”

Richard Nixon resigned over a lie nowhere near this big,” Limbaugh charged.

The comparison brought on by Obama repeatedly telling Americans that if they liked their existing healthcare plans, they could keep them under Obamacare. A promise that has proven not to be true for millions.

“And you know the hell of it is that Obama doesn’t think he lied,” El Rushbo continued. “I don’t think Obama, in his mind, is capable of lying. Whatever is necessary to say or do to advance the agenda is what is morally correct. Doesn’t matter. He doesn’t care. He doesn’t think he lied.”

A statement that borrows from the far-left mantra that “the ends justifies the means,” a belief that morally wrong actions are sometimes necessary when trying to achieve morally right outcomes.

Limbaugh went on to say that Obama and his “regime” put forth an “abject, purposeful lie to the American people for the expressed purpose of passing legislation.”

“This is total fraud,” he concluded. “It is 100 percent fraud.”
