Cruz stands up to scrutiny; Latino journalist fires hard-hitting questions

Screen Shot 2013-10-30 at 7.36.41 AMU.S. Sen. Ted Cruz recently sat for a wide-ranging interview on the newly launched Fusion Network and explained why he believes President Obama has “absolutely been abusing his power” by “forcing his agenda on the American people.”

Jorge Ramos, a well known Mexican journalist and television anchor, came out swinging on his new show “America” with hard-hitting questions for the senator from why he chose to fight Obamacare, to if he will run for president and when he will renounce his Canadian citizenship, to asking if Cruz agreed with his father’s comparison of President Obama to Fidel Castro and what he ultimately wants to see happen with immigration reform.

Cruz answered all, including giving a response to Ramos’ interview with Harry Reid where Reid said Cruz’s fight has “damaged the country” – that what Cruz “has done to our country will go down in the history books as one of the most negative approaches to trying to change America that we have ever seen.”

With his signature grace and aplomb, Cruz showed exactly why he is beloved and appreciated by conservatives across the country.
