Lindsey Graham vows to block nominations over Benghazi

U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham responded Monday morning to the explosive “60 Minutes” report on Benghazi saying Congress needs to “up its game” and get some answers.

And he said he would hold up every appointment in the Senate until questions got answered.

Graham echoed the frustration of all Americans and certainly the families of the four slain diplomats, asking the questions we all want to know, “Where are the survivors? Where was Hillary Clinton?”

Graham said, in part:

The State Department is blaming the CIA, the CIA is blaming the State Department. Where was the Department of Defense?

So, I am calling for a joint committee, but for God’s sakes, let the House have a select committee.

Where are the survivors? Fourteen months later, the survivors…have not been made available to the U.S. Congress for oversight purposes.

So, I’m going to block every appointment in the United States Senate until the survivors are being made available to Congress. I’m tired of hearing from people on TV and reading about stuff in books.
