The delusional Debbie Wasserman Schultz on Friday said the Obamacare debacle will be such a raging success that Democrats will case themselves as champions of the disaster in the run-up to next years’ election.

Republicans can only hope.

On the same day Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., made her declaration – “Democrats will run on [Obamacare] and win,” she told The Hill – 10 Democratic senators wrote Secretary of Health and Human Resources Kathleen Sebelius asking that the law be delayed, ostensibly because of the technical problems that have plagued the website Healthcare.gov.

Wasserman Schultz, though, is undeterred.

Whistling merrily past the graveyard of almost hourly news reports about what happens when liberal dreams of government omnipotence meet reality (websites crash, for starters – then come the gulags), Wasserman Schultz assured reporters after a Democratic National Committee Women’s Leadership Forum that all was well in the world.

Will Democrats run from Obamacare? (Like they did in 2010 and got their heads handed to them anyway?)

Of course not, Wasserman Schultz, chair of the Democratic National Committee said. Democrats have locked down the women’s vote.

“No, on the contrary, we know that women are already benefiting significantly from the part of Obamacare that’s already been implemented,” she said.

And despite the letter her colleagues in the upper house signed – four of them were women – Wasserman Schultz sees no need to delay the law.

“We fully expect that that won’t be necessary, because the kinks that have occurred through the website are being worked on and are being ironed out,” she said.

That must be news to her Senate colleagues, who wrote: “[N]ow that the marketplaces are open, we have become discouraged and frustrated with the problems and interactions that are occurring with the Affordable Care Act’s federally-administered website, healthcare.gov.”

If Democrats whose careers depend on Obamacare are “discouraged and frustrated,” how do they think the voters feel?
