A new, albeit snarky, citizen-driven petition on the White House website is asking that President Obama turn over his Nobel Peace Prize to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The “We the People” petition claims Obama’s 2009 award should go to the real man of “peace”- Putin – for keeping the U.S. out of an “unwanted and unwarranted” war with Syria.

Remember, if the petition gathers 100,000 signatures, the White House must deliver an official response.

Which would be worth hearing for the comedic value alone.
