Iraq vet who thwarted robber tells story on Fox and Friends

The video of Jon Lewis Alexander behind a liquor store counter sticking a gun in the face of a would-be robber has gone viral. The Iraq war veteran who kept calm and composed during the Sunday night ordeal made an appearance on Fox & Friends Thursday, telling the story of what happened in his own words.

“He came walking in smoking a cigarette, and we don’t allow smoking in the store,” Alexander said. “So I calmly asked him, he’d have to take it back outside.”

Alexander said the man then raised his gun and said, “You need to give me all your money,” but used a few choice words along with it.

Turning the tables on the would-be robber, Alexander pulled his own weapon.
