Trayvon Martin used as fodder for Comedy Central roast; libs not outraged?

With the grievance industry on the left staking their claim on the controversial death of Trayvon Martin at the hands of George Zimmerman, we could expect a national outcry should someone on the right use the tragedy as fodder to set up a joke.

But that’s precisely what comedian Jeff Ross did during a Comedy Central roast of actor James Franco.

Towards the end of his set, Ross, who was dressed as Franco’s character from the movie “Spring Breakers,” took on one of Franco’s most famous failures: the 2011 Oscars. “Face it, Franco,” Ross said, “you and Anne Hathaway had the comedic chemistry of Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman.”

As pointed out by Mediaite, it may not have been the most offensive joke of the night–the excessive gay jokes, one of which ended Ross’ set, collectively took that prize–but it may have been the most controversial.

The real question here is: Will Ross be given a pass?
