Troops send ‘stay out of Syria’ messages to Obama: ‘I didn’t join for this’

*Update Sept. 2, 3:45pm: Due to the anonymity of the people in the following photos circulating on Twitter and Facebook, it has not been verified these are actual members of the U.S. military.

While President Obama delays any military action against Syria until Congress returns on Sept. 9, and even then it’s questionable whether the votes are there for him to proceed, polling shows that America does not support this action.

Meanwhile, social media continues to be a leading platform to express opinion and the brave men and women in the U.S. military are turning to the medium to show the nation that they are with the American people on Syria.
