A mural depicting a man who looks similar to George Zimmerman shooting a likeness of Trayvon Martin was unveiled Friday at the Florida state Capitol in Tallahassee.

The message of the 100-foot mural, created by Miami artist Anna Huong, is “We are all Trayvon Martin.”

The artwork shows a Zimmerman-like figure firing a gun at a hoodie-wearing figure, who’s face features a mirror to reflect the face of the viewer — a way of suggesting that the shooting could have happened to anyone.

The armed figure in the painting is shown standing in a firing position instead of the more accurate reflection of a bloody George Zimmerman laying on his back being pummeled by Martin as he fired, as testimony in his trial indicated.

Huong joined the group of activists “occupying” Gov. Rick Scott’s office for the past four weeks, and hopes to take the artwork on a nationwide tour.
