President Obama’s repeated assurance that al-Qaida was on the run, “decimated” in fact, seems moot now that we know the largest terror plot in a decade is keeping 19 U.S. embassies closed for the entire week.
And conservative author Brad Thor reminded the president Monday of just who is on the run – and it’s not al-Qaida.
For the record, @BarackObama – when you’re forced to close a record amount of embassies, your enemy isn’t “on the run,” you are.

Radio host Laura Ingraham liked Thor’s tweet so much, she retweeted it with an added zinger, Twitchy reported.
B-I-N-G-Obama was his name-O. “@BradThor: when u r forced to close a record # of embassies, your enemy isn’t “on the run,” u r.”

Twitter replies to both conservatives were quick:
CNS reported an interesting fact in an article about Obama’s declarations that al-Qaida was over after the Benghazi terror attack.
“President Barack Obama has described al Qaeda as having been ‘decimated,’ ‘on the path to defeat’ or some other variation at least 32 times since the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, according to White House transcripts, CNS News reported last November.
