Twitter laughs: Embassies closed Sunday, whatever will al-Qaida do now?

The al-Qaida threat prompting the Sunday closing of U.S. embassies throughout the world and the global travel warning issued to all Americans is the “most specific, credible threat information in years,” CBS News reported Saturday night.

“Intelligence officers have reporting [sic] from a reliable source that a major plot is under way and that the team to carry it out has been selected and is in place,” the report said.

Some conservatives on Twitter went a little deeper with the news asking what happens to the threat to embassies and consulates on Monday – does it expire?
