The video of Michelle Obama getting right up in the face of a heckler at a private fundraiser has surfaced, and it shows an ugly side to the first lady rarely seen in public.

After lesbian activist Ellen Sturtz interrupted Obama’s speech on protecting kids Tuesday night to ask why the president hasn’t signed an executive order protecting gay rights, the first lady walked away from the podium to directly confront Sturtz.

“Listen to me or you can take the mic, but I’m leaving. You all decide. You have one choice,” the first lady said.

When Sturtz said she would take the microphone, Obama walks away saying, “All right you guys, I’m just going to leave.”

It’s unbelievable how she then stands there and pouts while the adoring crowd begs and pleads with her to stay.

The first lady ultimately did stay considering attendees paid $500 to $10,000 to hear her speak at the home of a wealthy lesbian couple in the DC area.

For those who don’t know, Obama’s threat to leave the event is not included in the official White House transcript of the event, which reads, “Inaudible audience interruption.”
