The late President Harry S. Truman’s most famous quote has to be “The buck stops here.” It was so famous, in fact, that he kept a plaque with those words on his desk.
Almost every single president since Truman has echoed those words, with varying degrees sincerity. No president, has used them as dishonestly os the current commander-in-chief.
AS the following video illustrates, although “the buck stops here” has been a sentiment favored by President Obama, when things start heating up those words are soon replaced with, “I didn’t know anything, I didn’t see anything, don’t hold me responsible.”
Everyone in the president’s administration now follows the president’s example. Pathetic.
