Intimidation leads to scandal, tactics of the third world, says Rubio

In a Wednesday floor speech, Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., characterized the IRS scandal that targeted conservative groups seeking tax exempt status as “the tactics of the third world.”

He went on to describe it as the product of “a pattern, a culture, a culture of intimidation, of hardball politics that we saw both on the campaign trail and now through the apparatus of government,” according to his press release.

Rubio then cited other examples of intimidation the Obama administration has engaged in, and reminded us that the same Internal Revenue Service under investigation today is the same IRS that was appointed as the enforcement arm of Obamacare.

The full speech follows.
