The triple-serving of White House scandals was the subject of Jay Leno’s “Tonight Show” opening monologue Tuesday night.
“They’re warning this could be a long, hot summer,” Leno said of the projected Golden State weather. “They’re telling everyone to cover up. And believe me, you don’t have to tell the Obama White House twice. They know about covering up. Not a problem.”
He then focused on the latest in the string of White House scandals — IRS-Gate.
“He called it ‘outrageous’ and he said he would immediately have his Benghazi investigators look into it,” Leno said. “We will get to the bottom of this!”
Leno then engaged in a bit of mock reminiscence.
“Remember the old days when President Obama’s biggest embarrassment was Joe Biden?” Leno asked. “What happened to those days?”
