Kirsten Powers, a columnist for The Daily Beast and a Fox News political analyst, is quite possibly the most refreshing liberal in America.
While discussing media coverage of Benghazi, Powers scoffed at the notion by some in the media that Republicans are politicizing the story, suggesting that if this is true then “nothing in Washington can ever be covered”
“There is something just fundamentally really, really wrong with our media and they need to take a look at themselves and do some accounting,” Powers said.
She would also accurately point out that when MSNBC went “hysterical” over Sandra Fluke, no one applied that same standard to say the media shouldn’t cover it.
Such honesty is almost certain to result in Powers having her “liberal” card permanently revoked.
