A special operator on the ground the night of the terrorist attack in Benghazi is directly contradicting information from the Obama administration on the availability of a U.S. military rapid response team to lend help to the Americans under attack.
Speaking anonymously to Fox News’ Adam Housley, the operator said there absolutely was a C110 command in extremis force conducting training that evening only a few hours away in Croatia.
The 40-man rapid response team is specifically trained to handle events like the terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate and could have been in Benghazi in “four to six hours,” the source told Fox.
The source also said he believed the rapid response team could have been in Benghazi before the second attack.
Obama administration officials have insisted there were no forces in the area, and not enough time to send help, that could have saved the lives of those slaughtered in the attack.
