President Obama, playing his customary role of celebrity-in-chief, had them in stitches at Saturday night’s White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner.
His frequent references to showbiz sure to please the star-studded audience that included the likes of Steven Spielberg, Harvey Weinstein, George Lucas, Jeffrey Katzenberg and Barbra Streisand.
But there was one individual with a little star power of her own who was not amused.
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, using the social media platform Twitter, posted a very terse response at the events conclusion, calling participants “assclowns.”
Palin was a surprise guest at the 2011 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, as noted by Business Insider.
