Krauthammer: Obama’s assessment of radical Islam is comical and embarrassing

Bill O’Reilly and Charles Krauthammer tried, but failed, to come up with a logical explanation for why President Obama has not, will not and never will acknowledge the threat radical Islam poses to the world.

The host of Fox News’ “The O’Reilly Factor” opened his show Monday night saying all Americans know “the jihad is real, radical Muslims are killing innocent people and threatening the world.”

He then asked Krauthammer why Obama refuses to say the words Muslim terrorist, extremist, or jihadist, noting that Obama never once referred to the Boston Marathon bombing as “Muslim terrorism.”

“I don’t know what he is thinking, but I sure know what he is saying and doing,” Krauthammer began. “The lengths to which he will go to avoid telling us the truth about the enemy is becoming comical, it’s certainly embarrassing.”

Krauthammer said Obama refuses to even use the word “Islamist,” a word that is used throughout the Muslim world.

“He refuses to use any words that might imply a connection between radical Islam and terrorism, which as anybody who’s over the age of nine knows is the single greatest cause of terror in the world today,” Krauthammer said.

Krauthammer pointed out how Winston Churchill and Franklin D. Roosevelt were very clear about who the enemy was at the time.

“You have to be honest with your own people” about who the enemy is, Krauthammer said, adding, Obama is not.
