George W. Bush Presidential Center is up – and so are his poll numbers

Former President George W. Bush has two things to celebrate this week. The dedication of the George W. Bush Presidential Center will be dedicated on Thursday, and news is out that his poll numbers are up, according to the Washington Times.

When Bush left office after his second term a mere 33 percent approved of the job that he did, and 66 percent disapproved, tied with disgraced Pres. Richard Nixon. But in a recent ABC/Washington Post poll, 47 percent say they approve of the job Bush did in his eight years in the White House.

Just in time too. The invitation only dedication ceremony (Click for LIVE FEED) will feature guests President Barack Obama and Mrs. Michelle Obama, President George H.W. Bush and Mrs. Barbara Bush, President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and President Jimmy Carter and Mrs. Rosalynn Carter. The Center officially opens to the public on May 1.

The Center took just over two years to complete, but you can see it here in less than two minutes.
