The uncle of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects was absolutely enraged to learn of his nephews’ involvement in Monday’s terrorist attack.
Ruslan Tsarni said his family is ashamed the suspects are the children of his brother. He offered condolences to the families of the three people who died and all who were injured in the bombing.
Tsarni said if he had the “slightest idea” his nephews were involved, he would “have been the first one to turn them in.”
He told his nephew Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who is the target of Friday’s massive police manhunt, to turn himself in. “Turn yourself in, ask forgiveness from these people. You brought shame on our family shame and on the entire Chechen people.”
Tsarni said the boys did not act in the name of Chechnya. “Chechens are peaceful people.”
