NYC Mayor Bloomberg’s group Mayors Against Illegal Guns targeted Florida Sen. Marco Rubio (R) in its latest anti-gun television ad. The ad features a cartoon Rubio running around to the sound of a narrator slamming his stand on stricter background check legislation for gun owners.
“Marco Rubio, a new senator, but already looking past Florida, thinking of running for president. And that has Rubio running to the right, opposing a bill on comprehensive background checks.”
A representative from the group said the ad will air statewide at a six figure cost, according to the Washington Post.
