Rep. Chaffetz tweets from border: ‘Worst thing I’ve seen’

U.S. Rep. Jason Chaffetz’s second day on the U.S.-Mexico border had him witnessing, first-hand, some very alarming issues related to border security.

BizPac Review reported on Chaffetz’s Tuesday tweets from Yuma, Ariz. showing an area of the border with no fence, but rather a walkway and handrail for immigrants to stroll across as they enter the country illegally.

Chaffetz’s Wednesday tweets and photos brought more disturbing news (as if the routine drug busts on the border aren’t disturbing enough): 60 Mexican elementary school children walk across the border to attend school in Naco, Ariz., unaccompanied and with no papers, every single day.

Chaffetz tweeted the following:

He also showed a picture of how a “big fence” becomes a small fence (and I wonder if one could even call it a fence) on one part of the border.
