Media storm causes FAU to release video apology for Jesus stomping

Following a public reprimand from Gov. Rick Scott for the incident referred to as the “stomp Jesus” assignment, Florida Atlantic University has released a video apology.

Although a prepared statement of apology was issued on Friday, the story has continued to spread across media outlets and in social media circles.

Dr. Charles Brown, Senior Vice President for Student Affairs at FAU, emailed the following on Tuesday afternoon:
