Over the weekend, Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., got caught in a lie. I know, this is nothing new for the house minority leader, but this is a good one, right up there with President Obama’s, “If you like your health care, you can keep your health care” whopper.
Sunday on CNN, Pelosi remarked that “the president has always been respectful of the views of the Republicans in Congress — their leadership and their membership. He’s always tried to accommodate them.”
Fox News anchor Bill Hemmer brought polotical strategist Karl Rove on board Monday morning to reply. Rove, as you might suspect, had plenty to say.
“What universe is she coming from?” asked rove, according to Fox.
After running through a brief litany of Obama snubs to the GOP, he said of Pelosi, “She lives in a different place.”
“This president has been intensely partisan, incredibly dismissive of his opposition and uses rhetoric not only that attacks their policies but continually questions their motivations.”
