President Obama is finally set to visit Israel, and according to Israel Hayom, it’s going to be quite an event. The American Embassy has launched a competition for a chance to win one of 20 coveted invitations to attend the so-called “glamorous” event.
Israel Hayom explained:
The competition involves Facebook users “liking” the embassy Facebook page and creatively explaining to group members why they, of all people, should be selected to attend the glamorous event.
The winners of the competition will be invited to attend the speech alongside hundreds of students and other distinguished guests.
Would-be participants are invited to explain why they should be selected at the U.S. Embassy Tel Aviv, Israel Facebook address.
Nearly 400 people have already entered, and the comments range from glowing to critical, and include a few with a sense of humor.
