Former Alaskan Gov. Sarah Palin will be in Florida at the end of the week, speaking at the 7th Annual National Leadership Forum at Southeastern University in Lakeland.
The Leadership Forum, held March 7 & 8, is “an innovative and intimate approach to teaching the servant leadership concept not only in the academic community, but in the business and church communities as well,” as described on its web site.
Southeastern is a Christ-centered university that fosters student success by integrating personal faith and higher learning.
The two-day conference features some of America’s most renowned leaders who inspire and motivate excellence in leadership. Past forum speakers have included Colin Powell, Jeb Bush, President George Bush and Condoleezza Rice, according to the Lakeland Ledger.
All net proceeds from the event directly benefit the Southeastern University Scholarship Fund, assisting more than 90 percent of the university’s students, as the Ledger notes.
