I really am trying to ignore the news that actress Ashley Judd is seriously considering a run for the U.S. Senate against Kentucky Republican Mitch McConnell.

But I couldn’t help myself from watching the hilariously edited video the Washington Free Beacon posted on Judd’s appearance at the George Washington University Friday.

Judd was invited to speak about reproductive rights, but “delivered a wide-ranging speech on her family history, career, world travels, vacations, and principles,” the paper reported.

“The Washington Free Beacon has edited Ms. Judd’s speech to its bare essentials and looks forward to hearing more, much more, from her in the future.”

Oh, well done Washington Free Beacon staff!
