British humor is even more hilarious when directed toward stereotypical, uptight Brits.

Some West Midlands police officers are under investigation for, well – basically following orders.

According to the Daily Mail, prosecutors asked police for a witness report from “Police Constable Peach” thinking, obviously, Constable Peach was a human. “Peach” is actually one of the department’s police dogs.

So, officers filled the form out according to Peach. The statement read: “I chase him. I bite him. Bad man. He tasty. Good boy. Good boy Peach.” And was signed with the most adorable paw print.

You can guess what happened next. A photo of the statement found its way on Facebook and Twitter to the amusement of the many who saw it.

To me, this is laugh-out-loud funny. To the Crown Prosecution Service, not so much.

The article said British prosecutors “are believed to have complained to police that their mistake has been turned into a very public joke,’ and the matter is being investigated.

The funny West Midlands police officer, PC Mark Tissington, turned himself in to the “internal discipline unit.”

But, good news for the officer: “Sources say he is unlikely to be reprimanded,” the Mail reported.
