Not familiar with the Harmon name? The elder Harmon coached Tiger Woods early in his career. The Golf Channel reported that the Harmons will fly down to Florida from their base of operations at the Rio Secco Golf Club in Las Vegas to meet the president and offer their advice.
“He’s a left-handed player, I’ve seen film of his swing before,” Harmon(?) told The Golf Channel. “It’ll be fun getting him down in the learning center, show him stuff in his golf game and see how he takes it to the course.”
“He’s just like all of us that play golf,” Harmon added. “He wants to get better.”
The Golf Channel’s Will Gray reported that the White House staff contacted Crane about the president’s interest in visiting the facility and getting a little hands-on instruction to improve his game.
We all need down time, especially the commander-in-chief. I’d just feel a whole lot better had I read that he was getting lessons in American history and economics instead of golf.
