Just when it seems that every possible allegation imaginable has been leveled at the tea party, the left-leaning magazine Mother Jones regales us with reports of a video being made depicting former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton engaging in a sex act with a panda bear.
You can’t make these things up, folks!
The report states that the tea party-aligned advocacy group, FreedomWorks, produced a video that included an oral sex scene between a fake Hillary Clinton and a fake panda — apparently, the panda represents “progressive pandering.”
The video was intended to be shown last year at FreePac, a summer conference in Dallas, according to Mother Jones, but it was scrapped after staff raised objections.
Mother Jones reported:
In one segment of the film, according to a former official who saw it, Brandon (Adam Brandon, executive vice president) is seen waking from a nap at his desk. In what appears to be a dream or a nightmare, he wanders down a hallway and spots a giant panda on its knees with its head in the lap of a seated Hillary Clinton and apparently performing oral sex on the then-secretary of state. Two female interns at FreedomWorks were recruited to play the panda and Clinton. One intern wore a Hillary Clinton mask. The other wore a giant panda suit… Placing the panda in the video, a former FreedomWorks staffer says, was “an inside joke.”
“How was that not some form of sexual harassment?” a former FreedomWorks official asked, noting that two female interns had been requested to act out a pretend sex scene. “And there were going to be thousands of Christian conservatives at this thing. This was a terrible lack of judgment.”
Since FreedomWorks is still reeling from a messy internal battle that resulted in its former chairman, Dick Armey, resigning — a story Mother Jones broke in December — this latest development is the last thing the group needs at the moment.
Now that the sex tape story is getting out via Twitter and other social media sites, conservative activists are already calling for the resignation of FreedomWorks President Matt Kibbe. It’s a call that’s sure to pick up momentum in the coming days.
